FARMINGDALE, NY – Group One Ltd. named Tyler Wise national sales manager for its lighting division. Wise will oversee Group One’s Elektralite division and its distribution of the Pulsar line of products. Wise recently served as Eastern U.S. sales manager for Production Resource Group (PRG).

Wise brings extensive experience in the areas of project/product design and development, lighting control and A/V systems integration from intimate venues to large-scale commercial spaces.

Wise recently served as the Eastern US Sales Manager for Production Resource Group (PRG) and was responsible for business development within the four principle divisions of the company. His multidiscipline role involved global project development including new construction, renovation, production development and special events.
Prior to PRG, Wise worked for a specialty entertainment controls representation firm in Denver as Senior Project Manager tasked with designing, engineering, implementing and supervising installation, and commissioning of sophisticated lighting control, A/V and rigging systems. Most applications of his work were for conference centers, theatres, opera houses, amphitheatres, stadiums and large-scale commercial and industrial spaces. Before that, Wise managed the Quotations Department at Strand Lighting, where he supervised sales support for North, South and Latin America.
With an extensive production management background, Wise started his career touring internationally with two professional dance companies as well as two classical vocal groups. More recently he has served as Production Manager for two off-Broadway productions, winning two Lucille Lortel Awards and one Obie.
Significant project experience includes the New York Times Building, Carnegie Hall Renovation, the World of Coca-Cola, EPA Headquarters, New York Yankees Stadium, Pittsburgh Penguins Stadium, Dallas Cowboys Stadium, the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, and several landmark theme park and cruise line projects with The Walt Disney Company.
Wise is a member of the PLASA Behind the Scenes Foundation committee and is an active member in the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Theatre, Television, and Film Lighting Committee.
