LONDON — Projected Image Digital is hosting two informal open days on April 22 and 23 at its west London training and demonstration space. The event will give visitors a chance to get a good look at new gear with PI-Digital staff on hand to answer any questions. Individuals and companies working in all areas of digital media and lighting are welcome to attend, particularly those interested in media servers, lighting consoles, projection systems, LED screens and digital lighting fixtures.
Products on display will include the Catalyst Lapcat, featuring the power of the Catalyst digital media server in a 15-inch Mac Book Pro with 128Gb hard drive. This runs Catalyst Lite software and all its features, has a DMX512 interface and is housed in an Otterbox case.
A selection of Catalyst Pro digital media servers will also be available. There will also be a wireless DMX demo from Wireless Solutions AB, and representatives from ETC will be on-hand with demos of their Congo and Eos consoles.
LED fixtures from Traxon, Element Labs, including VersaTUBE/VersaTILE/VersaPIXEL products, and Schnick Schnack systems will be on display, along with projection surfaces from Harkness Hall.
“There’s a large and dynamic range of kit available to see, and all our staff will be on hand with expertise and information relating to applications and all technical aspects,” said PI-Digital’s David March.
The Open Days run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days. The PID demo space address is 58B Wellesley Park Road, Chiswick, LONDON W4.
