SAO PAULO, Brazil — Lollapalooza, which ventured from Chicago’s Grant Park to Santiago, Chile in 2011 and Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2012, returned to the Jockey Club in Sao Paulo for the last three days in March, 2013. Electra Light and LPL Lighting Productions set up an on-site custom 3D visualization studio with all three main stages virtually replicated in LightConverse for the benefit of visiting LDs.

The main proponent for the onsite studio was designer Nilson Barros (Xuxa), known for his work on The Voice Brazil 2012 (Globe) along with other productions. He convinced director Caio Bertti to offer the service to festival organizers who then invested in the well-received concept.
