Herbalife is a giant in the natural nutrition market, a multinational company based in Los Angeles present with its products in 80 countries through a network of two million distributors.
‘Extravaganza’ is a special corporate event organized periodically by Herbalife – mixing high-profile entertainment and a strong motivational purpose – that Herbalife organizes regularly in the most prestigious cities in the world.
This year, ‘Extravaganza’ was held September 27 to 29 in the Lanxess Arena, a modern multi-purpose venue site in Cologne, Germany, and was attended by about 50,000 visitors.
Madeleine Albright, former U.S. Secretary of State, was the special guest for this edition.
The entertaining aspect of the convention has been emphasized by a richly decorated stage – on which the Shadow Dancers ensemble performed – and by large mirror balls suspended on the audience.
To illuminate this impressive setup, Planet Service – a company specializing in consulting, design, construction and lighting design of major events, as well as technical partner of Herbalife for its international conventions – has installed a lighting system consisting of over 180 D.T.S. moving heads, including 24 x RAPTOR, 40 x JACK, and 70 x NRG 1201.
The RAPTORs were included in the scenographic structure of ‘Extravaganza’: installed on the large arch erected on the stage, and placed on the ground on either side of it.
Their performance in terms of brightness and color quality has greatly contributed to the success of the event.
