More details from Green Hippo (http://www.green-hippo.com):
ZURICH – Green Hippo’s Swiss distributor, IQunlimited, recently offered another round of popular training sessions. After the successful training sessions organized in conjunction with Green Hippo at Theatre Basel in the autumn of 2011, IQunlimited scheduled another two-day training seminar for an extended range of clients.
The training took place March 13-14 in a Cultural and Community Centre close to Zurich for IQunlimited’s customers and potential clients.
Attendees ranged from various fields including rental companies, theatres and operas, TV/Broadcast, cultural centers, concert halls as well as freelance designers and operators.
Once again the seminars were held by Green Hippo’s head of training Simon Harris, who provided Basic and Advanced training in the morning and afternoon of Day one respectively.
On the second day Harris’s trainees were treated to an in-depth look at Hippotizer’s UberPan component and connecting HD cameras to a dual HD-SDI Datapath input card.
Both days were concluded in style with aperitifs and a social exchange.
A spokesperson from IQunlimited says, “This year’s seminar was once more pleasant and favorable for us as organizers. It gets more and more popular amongst the Green Hippo users in Switzerland and it gave us a good opportunity to exchange ideas and have a closer look at the possibilities of Green Hippo media servers.”
