CHAUVET Professional is moving forward toward a new destination at Prolight + Sound 2024. This point is not a tangible place that can be located on any map. Rather, it is a more rarified, ethereal space where the physical and digital worlds converge, bringing forth new and infinitely endless possibilities in design. Building on its breakthrough exhibits at LDI and ISE, the company is continuing this voyage at Frankfurt Messe from 19-22 March. Visitors to the show are invited to drop by the CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys at booth (E21 in Hall 12.1) to experience firsthand how this bold approach to harnessing innovation fuses reality and imagination.
The power of this union will be immediately evident as soon as one approaches the booth and sees the towering multi-faced overall panorama created by David Howard of David Howard Lighting Design, which draws on an extensive collection of CHAUVET Professional fixtures. Endowing the booth design with its bold magnetism is the intense output of the CHAUVET Professional STRIKE Array 2C and STRIKE Array 4C IP65 rated RGBAWW blinder-strobe-audience lights. These versatile fixtures open the door to bending reality in numerous ways with the full color pods (four in the larger unit, two in the smaller), which can be independently focused.
Adding to their impact, both fixtures offer industry standard-setting low end dimming capabilities, as well as a red shift function that warms the color temperature of the light as it dims to emulate a classic tungsten look. The variable PWM and high CRI, of both units make them the ideal for broadcast applications. Both units also have a proprietary tool-free interlocking system that allows them to be interconnect in the kinds of vast multiple configurations that are so essential to immersive live and VR productions.
Adding an embracive effect to the transformative booth design are the much-talked about REM series of video panels that feature a high speed 7680 Hz refresh rate that make them ideal for broadcast and immersive wall applications. The cinema-grade indoor rated REM 1 is an 800 NITS panel with a 1.9 mm pixel pitch, while the all-weather REM 3IP has a 3.9 mm pitch.
Also contributing to the power of the booth design are the Maverick Storm series of fixtures. Prominently featured among this group will be the Maverick Storm 4 Profile, which brings indomitable long throw performance to even the largest venues. Its ambitious design launches over 60,000 lumens across impressive distances with commanding brightness. This fixture’s sophisticated variable CMY+CTO system that delivers fantastic color rendering, along with its crisp gobos, two rotating gobo wheels, two prisms, two frost filters, animation wheel, sharp shutter framing, and 8.5:1 zoom, add to its ability to cross worlds.
These and other CHAUVET Professional fixtures will be on display at the booth, where visitors can get an up-close-and-personal look at them as they ask questions of product specialists. Everyone at Prolight + Sound is invited to step in and discover the new world of possibilities that await when the real and digital converge.
