EILENBURG, Germany — ChainMaster has extended its range of BGV-D8 plus rigging lifts with a new model that has a 250 kg load-bearing capacity and is capable of moving loads at a speed of 4 meters per minute. Without the chain, the unit’s net weight of the chain hoist is around 22 kg. Chains of various lengths are prepared to customer’s specifications.
ChainMaster offers package prices for the new rigging lift with either 18 meters or 24 meters of chain. The new hoist will debut at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt, Germany this April. ChainMaster’s booth is Hall 9.0/E39.
ChainMaster of Eilenburg has been producing chain hoists and controllers for theatrical and show stages since 1990, references including the Pentagon Museum, the Kremlin and the international tours of acts like Metallica, Paul McCartney and U2.
The company currently employs about 20 workers in Eilenburg, and exports currently accounting for around 60 per cent of the company’s sales.
