ORLANDO, FL — LMG Touring has been supporting the lighting, audio and video needs for We The Kings, including this year’s Secret Valentine Tour and The Bamboozle Roadshow. Steve McCale, director of touring for LMG touring, was introduced to the band and their tour manager Trevor Fair during The NAMM Show last January. LMG Touring supported the production of Sennheiser’s private concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim, which featured We The Kings and Larry Braggs with the Tower of Power Horns.

“When we first met the guys from LMG Touring,” Fair said, “they were really cordial and we liked the fact that they were from Florida. But what really sold us on working with them was though their production work at our House of Blues show during NAMM. They brought in flat screens, tons of video camera hook-ups, enhanced lighting and an audio rig that made the band sound incredible. They turned a standard club date into a dazzling show.”

“LMG Touring is on tour with us now,” Fair continued. “The kids leave our shows hooked and want to see us again, which is why we invested money in our production. LMG is the company to go with if you’re looking to create a personal yet professional environment around your tours. They have amazing solutions that have made our ideas come to life.”

“We The Kings wanted to dazzle their fans but needed to start out with a lighting rig that was simple to install,” said Steve Bodzioch, LMG Touring’s lighting services manager.

Bodzioch and his team designed a new lighting package for We The Kings, controlled by a Hog 1000 FOH lighting console. The rig also included custom-built truss towers, Martin moving lights and Color Kinetics LED fixtures.

The gear list was expected to grow for We The Kings’ upcoming Bamboozled Roadshow in April, with LMG Touring preparing to help the band along the way.
