VICTOR, NY — Vortek, a division of Daktronics, is moving its manufacturing facility a mile from the current facility in Victor, N.Y. The theatrical rigging design and manufacturing company was seeking more space and an updated facility to support its plan to expand its capacity to server national and international customers. “While space will be the main advantage, the new facility will also be more modern, well-lit and provide a better working environment for all Vortek employees,” said Gerry Fryzowski, manufacturing engineer. “More importantly, the new facility will set the stage for our continuing growth in the theatrical rigging industry.”
The new building will house the entire Vortek division, including: Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials and Purchasing for all standard and custom products.
