VICTOR, NY — Hoists and controls made by Daktronics’ Vortek division now have ETL certification. “Carrying an ETL mark proves our commitment to quality products and safety in our industry,” said David Rossi, Vortek’s operations manager. Vortek’s products are approved by ETL to comply with the following UL standards: UL Standard for Industrial Control Panels – UL 508A 1st Edition and UL Standard for Hoists – UL 1340 1st Edition. This certification ensures that the mechanical integrity of the hoist was not compromised after statically loading (4x) and dynamically loading 125 percent of working load. In addition to this, a dielectric withstand test and continuity verification are now standard for final line quality control testing.
