{mosimage}TAMPA, FL — With no timeouts allowed, Chaos Visual Productions helped supply the LED displays behind the low-profile stage for the halftime show at Super Bowl XLIII, featuring Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Utilizing 8mm Win Vision, Chaos provided eight custom designed LED carts that were positioned side by side, horizontally at the rear of the stage, 7 facing front and one facing back, and they fired up flawlessly to fit within the short time constraints that the halftime show is known for.
“It was an impressive five minute transition from football field to a live concert event,” said Chaos president John Wiseman. “Our crew chief, Dave Panscik, was back for a repeat performance, which provided invaluable advice to our crew and made the five minute deployment of gear from carts to live TV possible.”
Don Mischer Productions, White Cherry Entertainment, Bruce Rodgers of Tribe Inc. and lighting designers Jeff Ravitz, Bobby Dickinson and Bob Barnhart led the management and design teams for the 2009 event. Along with Panscik, the Chaos crew included LED techs Rusty Wingfield and Jeff Gainer.
