NEW YORK— Scharff Weisberg has named Tony Rossello senior account representative. He had been senior event manager for the company for the last nine years. In his new role, Rossello will develop the company’s video and audio business and serve as the primary sales contact for those markets. “The change in Tony’s title better reflects the role he now performs at Scharff Weisberg Lighting,” said company president Josh Weisberg. “He has been a key part of the company for many years handling some of our highest profile jobs and developing a trusted list of clients. Tony’s well-developed combination of technical and customer service expertise will serve him well as he moves into his new role.”
Rossello has been a leading member of the New York staging community for the last 27 years. He honed his craft as an A/V manager and production director for several Marriott hotel properties and as a show coordinator for Bauer Audio/Video. Since joining Scharff Weisberg nine years ago he has worked behind the scenes in project management, directorial, sales and customer service capacities.
“I’m looking forward to further developing Scharff Weisberg’s video and audio markets and introducing more clients to the extraordinary range of technical and creative capabilities we offer,” said Rossello. “I’m happy to be maintaining my relationship with all of my current clients, too, so they can count on our continuing collaboration for all their future projects.”
