Sapsis Rigging Launches Fall Protection Line

PHILADELPHIA — Sapsis Rigging, Inc. announced the availability of its SRI ProPlus Fall Protection System, a new line of fall protection equipment designed for technicians working at height in the entertainment industry. "Historically, fall protection equipment was left to industrial supply companies that may not have an truly accurate understanding of what we, as entertainment technicians, require in order to do our jobs safely,” said Bill Sapsis, president.

“Add to that the confusion that has developed around the new ANSI Z359 standards and the need for clarity becomes even more important,” Sapsis said. "We've made sure that the entire ProPlus line meets the new ANSI Z359.1-2007 standards. In addition, all of our ProPlus harnesses come with a sub-pelvic strap. This strap helps reduces the stress caused by orthostatic intolerance,” he said, referring to suspension or harness trauma.

“It should also be noted,” Sapsis concluded, “that all of our ProPlus harnesses are black."

Sapsis said the company will be showing the SRI ProPlus Fall Protection System line for the first time at USITT in Cincinnati, at booth # 1222. The entire ProPlus Fall Protection System line is also available from the company’s online catalog.
