SECAUCUS, NJ – Rose Brand recently announced the top 10 Rose Brand Scholarship finalists, comprised of graduate and undergraduate students from across the US. The 10 finalists will now be judged by a panel of high profile experts in the industry. The winner of the scholarship will be announced this year at the USITT Conference.

SECAUCUS, NJ – Rose Brand recently announced the finalists of the Rose Brand Scholarship. The top 10 were comprised of graduate and undergraduate students from across the US. The 10 finalists will now be judged by a panel of high profile experts in the industry, which include Scenic Designer & Tony Award winner, Donyale Werle; the President of Scenic Art Studios, Joe Forbes; Walt Disney Imagineering Designer, Pete Happe; Scenic & Production Designer & Primetime Emmy Winner, Joe Celli; and the owner of Tait Towers, Adam Davis.

Marni Balint, Ohio State University, grad student;
Kyra Bishop, Webster University, junior undergrad student;
Sarah Brandner, University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, grad student;
Matheus Fiuza, Rowan University, junior undergrad student;
Matthew Imhoff, Michigan State, grad student;
Natalie Khuen, University of California – San Diego, grad student;
Jared LeClaire, University of West Georgia, senior undergrad student;
Jamie Lew, University of Southern California, junior undergrad student;
James Ogden, University of Texas, grad student;

The Rose Brand Scholarship is awarded to a student in the amount of $5,000. A Rose Brand credit for $2,500 will also be given to the student’s school to help enhance the theater program. The scholarship is intended for students who wish to pursue a career in scenic design. The winner of the scholarship will be announced this year at the USITT Conference.
