Pete Borchetta has joined IA Stage as Chief Operating Officer. Mark T. Black, founder and CEO of InterAmerica Stage, said, “It is a testament to our continued growth and expansion over the past 30+ years that someone of Pete’s caliber would consider and accept a position of this importance,” adding, “We are thrilled to welcome him aboard.”
Borchetta brings a broad set of skills to the IA Stage table. A seasoned executive who emphasizes building positive working relationships with customers and colleagues, he draws upon a collaborative leadership style. “This is an exciting opportunity,” Borchetta said, “and I look forward to contributing to the continued success and growth of the company.”
Most recently, Borchetta was the General Manager of Altman Stage Lighting in Denver, CO. He also served as Altman’s VP of Product Innovation. Previously, he was Product Manager with Vari-Lite, Strand, and Selecon, and a Facility Design Consultant with Lorelli and Associates.
“Pete’s knowledge of the manufacturing industry and his experience with people make his presence significant not only to our continued operations and product excellence, but to the future of the company,” continued Black. “I’ve been the entire C-suite for the past 30 years, and I’m happy to give one of those Cs to Pete.” As COO, Borchetta will oversee daily operations and production aspects of the company, freeing Black and GM John Gitzy, to focus on other areas.
Borchetta joins IA Stage on July 10.
