NEW YORK — Nominations are now open for the second annual ESTA Rock Our World Awards, which recognize achievement by ESTA Members in new products, product applications, or projects. Nominations may be made by anyone in the industry, but an ESTA Member must be involved as the designer, manufacturer, supplier, or collaborator.
“This is your chance to tell us what’s rocked your world recently,” the association noted, in a press release. “It could be something you saw at a trade show, read about in an industry magazine, or experienced at a performance you attended. It could also be something your company created.”
Nominations for the 2009 awards must have been introduced to market or have taken place between October 1, 2007 and June 30, 2009 and must not have been previously nominated. Nominations close Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
A panel of judges will determine the winners. The finalists will be announced in early September and the winners will be announced at ESTA's annual dinner on November 19, 2009, the evening before the LDI show opens.
