Lex Products has announced that James (Jim) Binch has been appointed Chief Executive Officer following an extensive search to lead the company into the next stage of growth. Binch succeeds the previous Co-CEOs, Bob Luther (founder of Lex Products), and Nate Lowery, in this exciting role that oversees the strategic roadmap and all three operating locations (Shelton, CT; Davie, FL; Pacoima, CA). Luther and Lowery move into Board positions.
In a dynamic and exemplary career, Binch has driven success as CEO in companies ranging in size from start-up to large and established, across a broad range of industries ranging from banking to manufacturing. His most recent assignment was CEO of Q-Tran (Milford, CT), a family-owned LED lighting manufacturer. Additionally, Binch was an operating partner in private equity while at Lincolnshire Management in New York, helping to drive profitable growth across a number of holdings. The common thread through each of Binch’s professional positions is a dynamic operating transformation that fuels impressive growth strategies.
“I am very impressed with the level of innovation and excellence in the Lex product offering and look forward to improving our operational performance that enhances our standing with all constituencies – customers, suppliers, vendors, and most importantly, our loyal and dedicated employees,” commented Binch.
Binch is a graduate of Princeton University and the Wharton School of Business. He is a youth hockey coach and an avid competitive sailor.
