WELLINGTON, FL — LED Source named Jeff Washburn as director of sales / Entertainment division, a new position. He will lead the company’s Rental and Production business and Hospitality install markets for the company, managing and expanding its sales staff. Washburn comes to LED Source having spent the past 14 years with High End Systems / Barco as a regional sales manager, recently focusing on video systems.
“Jeff brings a huge number of key relationships, plus a vast knowledge of the converging Visual markets to the table,” said Marcel Fairbairn, LED Source president. “Our recent distribution agreement with Element Labs, plus our growing Color Kinetics sales base necessitates a greater level of product and application knowledge. Jeff will easily fill that need and position us for further growth. We’re happy to have him onboard.”
In three years, LED Source has built an LED distribution network that includes partnerships with Color Kinetics (Philips), Element Labs, Cree and others active in entertainment, commercial and residential lighting.
