In Memoriam: Mo Morrison, 61

LOS ANGELES — Concert touring pro Mo Morrison, 61, who had been undergoing treatment for cancer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center here, succumbed to the disease April 7, 2014. He is pictured here on Nov. 23, 2013, accepting the inaugural Parnelli Hall of Fame lifetime achievement honor.

Morrison, most recently worldwide tour director for Lady Gaga, had worked in the event production and television industry for four decades, supporting tours for such legendary acts as the Grateful Dead, the Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson and Prince.

Morrison was also involved in television specials featuring Whitney Houston, Cher, Gloria Estefan, Madonna and the Rolling Stones along with special events ranging from Miss America pageants to the Country Music Television Awards.
