SANTA MONICA, CA — Using a fashion-show runway built into a private airplane hangar, Ferrari revealed its California model at a charity event with an assortment of AV elements supplied by AV Concepts. Arnold Schwarzenegger and about 1,000 other guests attended the event, followed by a charity auction for one of the cars. A 16-screen Watchout multi-media show appeared on two 187-foot-long screens flanking the “runway,” and an assortment of live and prerecorded video elements also appeared on two 10.5-foot-by-14-foot LED screens at each end. Motor control systems raised and lowered these screens for the auto reveal.

The event, staged by LIVE Communications SRL, in cooperation with Ben Bourgeois Productions, was presented simultaneously with a twin event at Ferrari’s Italian manufacturing plant in Maranello, near Rome.
