NORTH CREEK, NY — Creative Stage Lighting Co., Inc. is offering a free online seminar on lighting design. It will take place on Feb. 19 at 3:30 p.m. EST. Called “Lighting Design 101: The Art of Illumination,” it is geared for a broad range of lighting professionals and aspiring professionals, providing a crash course on lighting a live music show, from conception to realization. It has been designed to provide a foundation for building a show from the ground up. Topics include:
* Lighting instruments, positions, and purpose
* Plotting, modeling, rendering, and visualization
* Color combining and scene building
* Programming and playback
ETCP recognized trainer Richard Cadena will lead the Webinar, with the goal of providing an interesting and informative session that builds on all the basic of lighting design and gets participants up to speed on some of the newer technologies in entertainment lighting.
