MANCHESTER, TN – Bonnaroo 2020, which had been completely sold out well in advance to its scheduled dates in June, had to be postponed to late September due to Covid-19, and by late June, organizers were forced by the pandemic to cancel all plans for a 2020 festival completely. Bonnaroo will return June 17-20, 2021.
“Out of an abundance of caution and for the health and safety of all Bonnaroovians, artists, staff, partners and our community, this is a necessary reality,” organizers noted with a posting June 24 on bonnaroo.com.
The annual event, which draws up to 80,000 to Manchester, TN’s Great Stage Park, will celebrate 20 years with next year’s event. Ticket holders for the canceled 2020 event can request refunds during July. Those who do not request refunds will be able to use their 2020 tickets in 2021.
