We were all very happy to receive four nominations covering audio, lighting, video and rigging in recognition of the industry-leading work of our teams on so many of the year’s top tours and events, including P!nk, Michael Bublé, Hugh Jackman, and Lady Gaga,” he states. “We take a tremendous amount of pride as a company in the Live Production team and the support they provide to clients around the globe. They not only bring but set the highest level of customer service in this market segment. Like our immensely talented and creative clients, Solotech sees entertainment technology challenges not as obstacles but as opportunities to innovate. It is great to see the industry acknowledge that and reward the expertise and talent of our Solotech team with the Parnelli Award.”

Being in the business for almost 40 years I’ve worked with so many great artists in the industry, but I can honestly say that Paul McCartney is on the top of that list. And although the award singled me out for this achievement, it would not have been possible without the help and hard work of so many people on Paul McCartney’s Freshen Up Tour—Production Manager Mark “Springo” Spring, Show Designer LeRoy Bennett, Tour Producer Barrie Marshall and their teams as well as my Video Engineer Christian LaVoie, Crew Chief Mike “Sinky” Sienkiewicz, and the rest of the video crew. I also have to give a special shout out and thank you to Solotech for providing state of the art equipment and unparalleled support.”
As well as its win for Lighting Company of the Year, Solotech was also was nominated this year at the Parnellis for Sound Company of the Year for the An Evening with Michael Bublé tour, Video Production Company of the Year for Hugh Jackman’s The Man.
