FRANKFURT – New trussing and staging systems manufacturer, Sixty82, only came into being on 1 March, and shortly after made its hugely successful first public appearance at Prolight+Sound 2018. “The show was incredible for us and we have been bowled over by the phenomenal response we have received from the word GO!” says Sixty82’s sales & marketing director, Rainier Smeding.

More details from Sixty82 (www.sixty82.nl):

Sixty82’s stand was built using some of its own products to replicate a pub. Complete with bar serving bespoke Sixty82 beer, meeting areas and a full complement of its products, it was a perfect setting for staff to welcome its many new clients. The arrangement reflected the friendly, approachable nature of the company whose team has a genuine enjoyment of their jobs and puts customer service at the forefront of their operations. “Having good product is paramount of course, but we believe that giving our customers the best service possible is essential,” says Smeding. “We want them to be confident knowing we can be relied upon to deliver upon our promises, and will support them on their projects in every way possible, from advice in the initial stages through to the final supply.”

The stand was constantly packed with clients for the four days of the show: the company officially launched the new Sixty82 App and celebrated with an after-hours party with a live band. Sixty82 App is the first database enabled App platform in the trussing and staging industry. It allows users instant access to both unique and general data about the origin and safe use of the system through the use of unique Product Personalities obtained through each component’s RFID tag.

“It was very exciting to exhibit for the first time as Sixty82, and to re-forge old relationships, while at the same time receiving such an immediately positive response from the visitors,” says Sixty82 co-founder, Adrian Brooks. “Trussing and staging manufacture is a crowded space in our industry, so to succeed you need to be different to stand out. We make sure we have that quality by being client-focused and approachable, with a level of knowledge in all sectors that we can put to good use for our clients, and in refining technology to keep things simple and efficient.”

The company message is clear: simplicity, clarity and experience. Sixty82 has a clear vision to change the way that lightweight structural systems are used. It offers good advice at all stages based on years of experience in the field and, using over 100 years of expertise, has developed a streamlined product line which is simple to understand, efficient to use and agile in its adaptability.

Depth of knowledge is evident at all levels with staff having many years of experience in all roles from engineers, technicians, manufacturers through to market and sales positions across several industry sectors. Significantly, partners from across all three countries have active rental companies, so they know first-hand what is important to their customers.

“With some of the trussing world’s most experienced and trusted individuals behind our product line, we were extremely excited to be at this year’s Prolight+Sound,” says Sixty82 CEO, Fokko Smeding. “Our passion has always been to supply the industry with safe, well-manufactured products, and back that up with our trademark – superlative, knowledgeable customer service. We have focused on the introduction of new technology that will become an industry standard within a short amount of time, and in providing our customers with confidence and security.”

Sixty82 is a British, Dutch and French alliance, with headquarters in Drachten, Netherlands.
