NYC – Sir Elton John will host the ‘Living Room Concert for America’ live from his living room in an effort to aid the world in coronavirus relief. The music icon, 73, will be entertaining fans from the comfort of his couch, while hosting iHeart Radio’s ‘Living Room Concert for America’ to raise money for those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Donations raised from the concert will support those working on the frontlines against the outbreak, for US charities Feeding America and First Responders Children’s Foundation, it’s been reported. Elton will be joined from his home, with a virtual selection of guests including Billie Eilish, Tim McGraw, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys and the Backstreet Boys.
The hourlong special is set to air commercial-free from 9-10 p.m. Sunday, March 29 on Fox — in the slot that originally was slated for the show to air. This much needed relief comes at a time when several groups are starting to offer online entertainment shows featuring artists speaking and playing music from the comforts of their own safe havens.
Donations to Feeding America and First Responders Children’s Foundation are encouraged.
