WAUKESHA, WI. – A storm’s a-brewin’ this winter in Wisconsin, and it’s serving up one super fresh, RGB pixel effect bar! New from Blizzard Lighting is StormChaser™️ Supercell, a 1-meter-long LED batten/strip fixture that offers color mixing via 224 SMD5050 RGB LEDs along with some serious pixel mapping power.
More details from Blizzard (www.blizzardpro.com):
The latest addition to the StormChaser line of LED products is fitted with 16 individually controllable, 7×2 ‘cells’ that deliver spectacular, fast-paced visual effects via DMX, auto, or sound/active modes, and flexible control with multiple DMX personalities ranging from ranging from 7-52 channels.
A single Supercell fixture can create either frosted, blackout, or intense pixel effects thanks to its three interchangeable lens options (frosted, opaque, clear) that all come included.
“Adding these lens options—on top of the 59 built-in macros—really sets Supercell apart from other LED strip washes with what you can do right out of the box,” says Lucas Alonso, Product Design Manager at Blizzard. “It’s also compatible with any pixel mapping software on the market, so advanced users can program the exact look they need.”
Supercell features a convenient, 5V USB port to power Blizzard’s SoC-It™️ wireless DMX device (sold separately), which pairs with their At Full™️ lighting control app (available on iOS & Android) for Art-Net / sACN functionality.
It uses 10KHz PWM dimming for beautiful, flicker-free output on video, features reliable powerCON-compatible power in/out connectors, and is backed by Blizzard’s 2-year warranty and exceptional after-sale service.
For a limited time, Blizzard is also offering a free Cloud Case™️ for orders of two or more fixtures.
StormChaser™️ Supercell is now shipping direct from Blizzard’s HQ, and is available throughout the U.S. from their authorized resellers.
