Attendees and viewers worldwide were captivated by a visual marvel at the Beijing World Horticultural Expo. Behind this dazzling display was GLOSHINE’s LED technology. Spanning a vast area of 32,291.70ft² (3,000㎡), their state-of-the-art LED screens transformed the scenic Gui Rui lakeside performance center into an interactive canvas, setting the stage for art performances that will be remembered for years to come.

This feat didn’t go unnoticed. The prestigious “China’s Records” recognized GLOSHINE’s contribution, dubbing it “The Stage with the Most LED Display Application Nationwide”. Such an accolade is a testament to the company’s dedication to pushing boundaries and setting new industry standards.

Central to this visual spectacle was the 8,611.12ft² (800㎡) elliptical LED floor at the Expo’s primary venue. This massive piece wasn’t just a static display; it was a dynamic component of the performance. Accentuating it were 29 retractable cylindrical screens, positioned strategically along the lake’s edge, creating an immersive experience for all present. Combining both a 4,305.56ft² (400㎡) uniquely shaped screen and a 4,305.56ft² (400㎡) transparent standard screen, the main floor was an achievement of engineering and design. It showcased crescent-shaped lift screens, square lift variants, and a pioneering 8-meter diameter rotating circular LED floor—a first in the industry.

Such a setup posed immense technical challenges, from ensuring uniformity across different screens to managing the precise alignment of seams, especially given Beijing’s fluctuating temperatures. Unwavering in their commitment, GLOSHINE’s dedicated R&D team took these challenges head-on. Their relentless efforts ensured that the gap between screens remained under 2 centimeters, which in itself set a new benchmark in the industry.

The 29 retractable cylindrical screens, each a meter in diameter, added another layer of depth to the visual narrative. Choreographed to sync with the rhythm of the performances, they danced gracefully above the lake, evoking images of celestial entities, harmonizing in nature’s own symphonic dance.

One of the most exhilarating moments was the emergence of a circular screen above the lake, capturing the gentle ascent of the moon. It felt as though attendees were witnessing a live rendition of the famous Chinese artwork, “Spring River Flowers and Moonlit Night”.

This grand display wasn’t just about innovation; it was a harmonious blend of technology and art. It mirrored the beauty of nature while enhancing it, resonating perfectly with the Expo’s theme of nature’s blooming splendor.

From its grand opening to the final curtain call, the elliptical LED floor and the cylindrical screens worked flawlessly for 165 days, setting the backdrop for over 80 performances. These included renowned presentations like the “Guan Chuan Song” dance and the “Beautiful Homeland” performance, each leaving an indelible mark on the audience.

GLOSHINE’s craftsmanship, in synergy with the stage director’s vision, ensured a seamless fusion of technology and art. Their combined efforts presented the Expo’s visual effects in their full glory, offering an unmatched visual treat to audiences worldwide.

As the world reflects on the success of the Beijing World Horticultural Expo, there’s eager anticipation for what GLOSHINE will unveil next. Their commitment to redefining technological frontiers and pushing the envelope promises more milestones in the future, further solidifying their reputation in the realm of Chinese artisanship and ingenuity.
