CLEVELAND, Ohio — As Vincent Lighting Systems (VLS) celebrates 40 years in business, the well-established company is adding a greater focus on its people, processes and products. In response to its goal to create a closer knit of leadership and management, the company has appointed General Managers for each of its offices. Each General Manager will be responsible for the operation of their office, but will also be involved with the business development and sales for the company. Each newly appointed General Manager also brings extensive experience in key specialties, to pursue new markets and sectors.

Building on a long career in sales and sales leadership roles, VLS veteran Walt Weber will now head up day-to-day leadership in Cincinnati. Walt has over 30 years of sales experience in the lighting industry and is an expert on working with specifiers, manufacturers and their representatives to bring successful projects to life. He started his career with VLS in the Rental area and headed up Project Sales in the southern Ohio/Kentucky area for many years, building a loyal customer base, by delivering exceptional customer service on new installations and renovated lighting systems.
Herman Sayre has joined the VLS staff, as General Manager of the Pittsburgh office. Herman brings over 20 years of experience in the theatrical rigging and theater design industries to VLS, where he will also spearhead the company’s expansion into rigging services and safety inspections. He is ETCP-certified in Theatre Rigging and has a proven record of trusted rigging expertise to offer VLS customers.
With over 15 years of professional experience in both the rental and production fields, VLS has appointed Tom Siko as General Manager for its Cleveland and Detroit offices. Tom attended Wright State University, in the BFA Theater Design and Technology program. He spent 10 years with Lex Products, before heading to a Chicago-based production and systems integration firm. Tom has served on both the ESTA and PLASA board of directors as a manufacturer representative. A native of northeast Ohio, he is happy to return to Cleveland. “After working in the Chicago market for a couple of years, it’s great to come home to the CLE and make a difference here for our customers. I find it rewarding to reconnect with so many professionals in Cleveland, whom I grew up with in the industry,” Tom commented. “This office is made up of so many creative professionals and a company culture that’s extremely customer-focused.”
