Join PRG at USITT 2023 as they explore storytelling on Broadway through the use of cutting-edge technology. The session, Executing the Designer’s Vision: Designer and Shop Collaboration on Broadway, will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. CST in Room #267 at the Americas Center. Lighting Designer Adam Honoré, Sound Designer Matt Bell, Scenic Designer Ed Pierce and representatives from PRG, the world’s leading provider of services and solutions for live events, discuss taking a show from concept through technical rehearsals to opening. From lighting, sound, and scenic perspectives, they’ll go through the collaboration that takes place between the designers and the shops in areas like equipment selection and fabrication techniques to deliver their creative vision on time and on budget.
