From April 16th to 19th, 2023, Unilumin showcased its cutting-edge virtual production solutions at NAB 2023, the National Association of Broadcasters Show held in Las Vegas, USA. At booth C8320, Unilumin presented four scenes featuring its advanced virtual production solutions, broadcast solutions, COB technology, and LED walls. The attendees of the exhibition were treated to stunning visual effects that showcase the seamless fusion of virtual and real worlds. Here’s a brief video recap of Unilumin at NAB 2023:
During the four-day exhibition, Unilumin collaborated with Vū, a seasoned virtual production expert, and 32 other industry partners to host 23 professional presentation and interviews on the virtual production stage at Unilumin’s booth. The schedule was tight, but the content was highly informative and valuable. The industry fields where ecological partners came from covered the entire virtual production process, including hardware, software, products, and solutions.
The booth attracted experts in systems, production, photography, game development, and more. All gathered together and discussed the future trends in the industry. Notable speakers at the site included Morgan Prygrocki from Adobe, Tim Moo from Vū, and Connor Murphy from The Third Floor, who delivered professional and engaging demonstrations and speeches at the booth. Many companies, including Sony, Amazon Web Services, and Pixera, provided cooperative support. The combination of high-profile speeches and stunning stage effects made Unilumin’s booth a popular destination for attendees, resulting in a lively and bustling atmosphere.
The stage in the image was constructed using Unilumin’s UpadIV, UDF, and UMicro series LED displays as the wall screen, floor screen, and fold-back screen respectively. It is situated above a gentle stream, backed by green mountains. The speakers spoke confidently, and the combination of virtual and real visual effects on the fold-back screen creates a synergistic effect, thus enhancing the persuasive power of their presentations.
NAB 2023 is a significant global event in the electronic media industry, and Unilumin leveraged its diversified resources to build a complete ecosystem at its own booth while also providing stable and high-definition Unano displays and matching solutions to other popular booths like Vū/MRMC, Magicbox, and Brainstorm in the exhibition hall. This supports Unilumin partners’ creative showcase and offers visitors more opportunities to experience and learn about Unilumin’s solutions.
One of the highlights of the event was the Unreal Ride experience at the Vū/MRMC booth in the main lobby, where Unilumin’s Unano created an immersive virtual scene. The participants were surrounded by periodic smoke and fog, and the wind accompanied them at appropriate speeds. The background changed to different scenes of, offering an awesome four-dimensional interactive immersive experience that attracted many visitors to participate and enjoy.
Magicbox garnered a lot of attention with its mobile broadcasting studio, which is a traveling studio that can showcase exciting events from around the world without being limited to a fixed location. Unilumin’s small-pitch Unano, the winner of the Reddot Award 2019 Best of the Best, was highly regarded by partners for its high-definition visual effects, ease of installation, and low maintenance requirements. It played an important role in Magicbox’s mobile broadcasting studio solution.
At the Brainstorm booth, Unilumin Unano 1.8 functioned as the wall screen, building the stunning XR stage and delivering an immersive and engaging experience.
With the theme “Metasight Ecology, Enlightening the Future”, the exhibition has come to an end, but the excitement still lingers. Unilumin has collaborated with its partners to consolidate industry resources, expand the Metasight ecosystem, and create more opportunities and possibilities for its partners and customers.
