Four hundred members of the live music touring industry attended the 12th Annual Touring Career Workshop Tuesday evening (11/14) at Soundcheck Annex in Nashville. Established to provide support, education, resources, and networking opportunities to the men and women who make live music events possible, this year’s event featured breakout sessions on topics including mental health self-care, financial planning, health insurance options, event safety, job hunting and more.

About Touring Career Workshop
The Touring Career Workshop (TCW), a 501c3, was created in 2011 by Chris Lisle and Erik Parker to educate their colleagues in the touring music industry on key professional and personal topics including financial planning, health insurance, home ownership, and mental and physical health self-care. The annual event features lectures from a variety of industry experts as well as networking opportunities. To date, the event has attracted more than 3000 attendees and featured 150 guest speakers. TCW’s All Access Program offers four free counseling sessions with an accredited therapist.
