Taking place at the end of January in Anaheim, CA, the annual NAMM tradeshow will see the official launch of 12 new products from ADJ Lighting at booth #10920. In addition, the company will again be the official naming sponsor of the Arena Plaza Stage where ADJ fixtures will be showcased illuminating a continuous program of live performances throughout the show. The stage will also be the venue for ADJ’s Customer Appreciation Happy Hour event on Thursday, January 25th, from 6-8pm, when all ADJ dealers and customers are invited to join the ADJ team for cocktails and live music from high-octane cover band Grooveline SD.

The best-selling Ultra Series of linear LED wash fixtures has a proven track record in the event production and venue integration markets. At NAMM 2024, ADJ will unveil the newest evolution of the range, a collection of bar fixtures utilizing the latest lime-infused HEX LED technology. Available in six (UBL6H), nine (UBL9H) and twelve (UBL12H) LED variants, each model features the same ultra-bright 20-Watt HEX color (red, green, blue, amber, lime and UV) LEDs. Arranged in independently controllable pairs, these LEDs offer smooth color mixing to allow the creation of a wide variety of hues and shades. The inclusion of the lime LED chip allows for an impressively high CRI of >90 as well as white light output with color temperature variable between 2,300K and 9,9000K. Each bar is fitted with robust rubber feet as well as a pair of removable variable angle brackets, which allows for versatile deployment mounted vertically, horizontally or standing directly on the floor. A useful Horizontal Magnetic Alignment feature, combined with consistent LED spacing of 85.5mm, means that multiple fixtures of different sizes can be joined together when used for uplighting to create seamless output.

Offering the classic esthetic of the traditional Par Can combined with the power-saving and heat-reducing advantages of a modern LED light source, ADJ’s Par Z Series provides a versatile solution for illuminating stages of all shapes and sizes. NAMM 2024 will see the debut of updated versions of both the warm white and cool white versions. The new Par Z100 3K2 features a 100-Watt 3000K cool white COB LED engine, while the Par Z100 5K2 version utilizes a 100-Watt 5700K warm white COB LED light source. Both versions offer five beam angle options (9°, 15°, 20°, 25° or 30°) and are supplied with a gel frame allowing the use of a diffusion filter or color gel (not included). Also being introduced at the show is a new color mixing version, which offers increased output compared to the previously available model. The Par Z150 RGBA harnesses the power and versatility of a 150-Watt quad color (red, green, blue and amber) COB LED engine which delivers a huge spectrum of color options, including white light with color temperature variable between 2300K and 9900K. The fixture offers 64 preset color macros, five manually selected beam angle options (7°, 11.5°, 16°, 20.5° or 25°) and includes a gel frame for diffusion filters (sold separately).

Ideal for a variety of applications that require an extremely tight beam angle, NAMM 2024 will see the debut of the latest fixture in ADJ’s popular Saber Spot Series. Utilizing the latest lime-infused LED technology, the Saber Spot RGBL features a potent 20-Watt RGBL (red, green, blue and lime) color mixing LED positioned behind an ACL lens to deliver a concise output with a narrow 5.7° beam angle. For applications where a wider beam angle is required, the fixture is also supplied with a lens kit comprising 10° and 45° options. Offering a wide color palette, including white light with color temperature variable between 2000K and 9900K, this extremely compact fixture is supplied with a versatile scissor yoke which can be used either as a variable angle floor stand or hanging bracket.

NAMM 2024 will also see the official launch of myDMX 5, ADJ’s most advanced DMX software to date. Rebuilt from the ground up, this powerful control solution features an advanced USBC-DMX hardware interface paired with software that has a fresh new look and a variety of new programming tools. At the heart of the improved workflow is the Super Scene, which allows multiple regular Scenes to be combined through a timeline interface with perfect precision. The software also offers an enhanced FX generator that can be used to create impressive effects on any type of channel. A new Touch feature allows custom screen layouts to be created for use with a touchscreen and a dedicated mobile app is also supported to allow remote control via WiFi. The new myDMX 5 hardware interface features 10 push buttons for triggering Scenes live or in a Stand Alone mode, which allows up to 99 Scenes to be stored across 5 pages and saved to SD card storage. Ideal for a wide variety of applications, from nightclubs, bars, performance venues and churches to event productions and mobile entertainment performances, myDMX 5 combines powerful features with an intuitive interface to deliver a new level of lighting control versatility.

A new version of ADJ’s MDF (Magnetic Dance Floor) system will also be on display at the show. The MDF3 is a robust, lightweight, and modular LED dance floor panel illuminated by an arrangement of vibrant 3-in-1 RGB color mixing LEDs that cause its opaque surface to glow vibrantly in a wide variety of colors. It features an improved power connection system underneath the panels that ensures a reliable connection between adjacent units. With surface dimensions of 600mm x 600mm (23.62” x 23.62”) and a low height of just 70mm (2.76”), the individual panels weigh just 26.57 lbs. (12.05 kgs.) yet can support a weight of up to 300 kgs/m2 (61.5 lbs/ft2). A variety of power supply options are available, with the smallest capable of driving a compact configuration of 9 panels and the largest capable of supporting a huge floor of up to 156 panels, as well as edge and corner ramps to allow the panels to be deployed safely for parties and events.

At NAMM 2024 the latest version will be introduced, the H20 Two, which is the brightest model to date and also boasts a sleek new exterior casing design. Featuring a potent 120-Watt cool white LED light source, the fixture can be used to project a mesmerizing animated effect which givens the impression of running water. The fixture features a color wheel with 5 dichroic options (plus white) as well as a strobe function. It can be controlled either via DMX – connected using 5-pin cables – or using the supplied UCIR infrared remote.

Featuring Chip On Board (COB) LED technology, the ADJ Dotz Par Series offers wash lighting fixtures that deliver smooth color mixing with no color shadows. The latest addition to the range is the Dotz Par RGBL, which features a 10-Watt quad color RGBL (red, green, blue & lime) LED engine which delivers vibrant color mixing with a high CRI. The unit features 64 color macros, to allow easy mixing of popular options, and offers variable white light output with a color temperature of between 2700K and 6500K. The versatile fixture is supplied with a scissor yoke which can serve either as a floor stand or hanging bracket and has a sit-flat design (with power and DMX sockets located on the side) to allow simple deployment as an up-lighting fixture.Completing the lineup of new products to be debuted at NAMM 2024 is the DMX FX512, a compact yet powerful DMX controller designed for use with both LED pars and moving heads.
