ETC is pleased to introduce Cyberlight LED, a moving mirror fixture born from industry feedback and built in Austin, TX. Cyberlight LED surpasses moving head luminaires in a variety of uses including high-speed pan / tilt movement and the ability to hide lighting fixtures in permanent installations. Here’s an preview video on the new Cyberlight LED:

Customers with existing mirror fixtures in the themed entertainment market and elsewhere can retrofit those products with Cyberlight LED for more energy-efficient operation and service. The 470W Bright White LED engine and the high-quality optical system delivers 12,500 field lumens with 90+ CRI for superior color rendering capabilities. A full complement of features is included on Cyberlight LED for creative design possibilities, including color mixing plus color wheel, dual rotating pattern wheels, zoom, focus, iris, prism, and diffusion.

Automated Lighting Product Manager Matt Stoner commented, “The lighting industry has been approaching us for years regarding an LED version of the Cyberlight. We took this opportunity to bring the entire fixture up to date with modern automated luminaire technology.  By introducing a smaller gate size, we have provided a fixture with a much broader feature set, wider zoom range, and encoded pan and tilt system. In addition, the fixture includes a transferable LED engine, and a maintenance design that prioritizes longevity and precision.”

Features of the Cyberlight LED include:

  • Break resistant mirror produces fast pan and tilt movement eclipsing the speed of movement available in moving yoke fixtures. Whisper Home positional encoding technology ensures the mirror instantly finds home position at startup or re-homing, making it ideal for installation in space-restricting locations
  • High quality 8-lens optical system with long focal depth benefits gobo morphing looks. Three moving lens groups provide sharp focus at any projection distance
  • Versatile 10°–28.5° zoom delivers precision sizing of patterns, aerials, and beams with dual moving zoom lenses
  • CMY/CTO – Linear color mixing system is specifically tuned to produce the gamut of cyan, yellow, and magenta mixed colors, from subtle pastels to saturated deeper hues. The CTO filter lowers Cyberlight LED’s color temperature for lighting skin tones and other critical themed environment elements
  • Seven position plus open replaceable Color Wheel offers the purest, most saturated dichroic colors available, as well as effects like split colors and color bumps
  • 16-blade iris with smooth motor stepping delivers extremely tight beam effects throughout its range, giving the designer a powerful tool for controlling light on the stage
  • Light and heavy diffusions in Cyberlight produce softened and diffused spreading of the beam or pattern for beautiful depth and texturing
  • Two rotating Gobo Wheels, each with seven interchangeable glass gobos, allow for virtually endless projection options. The optical path is optimized for a perfect focus across two gobo pattern planes. Gobos are easily replaceable with custom logos and patterns for corporate branding and imagery
  • Four facet rotating prism multiplies and rotates the projected image or pattern for unique animated and abstract looks
  • Designed to bring LED technology to existing Cyberlight installations, Cyberlight LED is a direct replacement for the legacy fixture, and born from industry demand and feedback. Greatly improved operational costs, and no more lamp changes

Themed Environment Specialist Scott O’Donnell said, “The super-fast speed of the Cyberlight LED is beyond any other fixture in the market. And since you can neatly stow the fixture away in the décor, Cyberlight is exactly the kind of light needed to create a dazzling themed environment. What an awesome fixture!”
