SUNRISE, FL – CHAUVET DJ continues to challenge the status quo with its new Intimidator Spot 475Z, a powerful, ultra-bright moving head loaded with high-performance features and designed for spotlighting large events. Producing seven different colors plus white and split colors, the newest member of the Intimidator family can transform any venue.
More details from Chauvet DJ (www.chauvetdj.com):
Dual gobo wheels allow gobo morphing and impressive mid-air projections. There are 15 gobos plus two open between the two gobo wheels, with continuous scrolling at variable speeds. The first wheel’s gobos are interchangeable and rotational as well, and both have a “shake” feature.
With a fully-motorized zoom for wide-angle and tight beam angles (13° to 28°), and dual rotating prism, the fixture makes it easy to create varied looks on the stage or dancefloor by changing coverage areas. The Intimidator Spot 475Z’s built-in totem mode can hold beams in position for crisp professional looks.
Surprisingly compact, given its intense output, the user-friendly Intimidator Spot 475Z features a convenient full-color LCD display. It also offers powerCON®-compatible power input/output connections for power linking, and wireless non-DMX control is possible using the optional IRC-6 remote.
“The Intimidator Spot 475Z is a light cannon, with impressive built-in features,” said Allan Reiss, Senior Product Manager at CHAUVET DJ. “We really wanted to create a fixture with virtually limitless design options that would work well in large venues.”
