NEW YORK, NY,– Barbizon Lighting Company (Barbizon) announced a restructuring initiative to accelerate the evolution of its Systems Department, the division that handles systems integration, project management, and technical services. Barbizon will intensify its focus in their high-growth Systems areas where it is positioned for long-term leadership, customer value, and growth.
More details from Barbizon (http://www.Barbizon.com):
New Structure Expands the Company’s Role Previously Known as The National Director of Systems to Capitalize on Growth Opportunities and Position for the Future of the Systems Marketplace.
- Brian Dunn Named National Director of Systems Services & Operations
- Jeff Siegel Named National Director of Systems Sales & Integration
- Karen Spacie Named National Systems Estimator
The Systems Division is Barbizon’s primary growth engine. Both the existing and new construction markets have an increasing focus on the high efficiency and longevity of infrastructure. Further, the innovation of LED lighting is so rapid that the market is seeing highly condensed product cycles with innovation focused on adding value to the customer while creating greater demand for controls, integration, and networking/programming specialists.
The restructuring initiative was outlined in an e-mail from Barbizon Lighting Company President & CEO Tom Madden to Barbizon employees.
“This further division of labor will enable us to better take advantage of the skills within the organization through the cross-pollination of information across market units while unifying process and scalability.”
In an interview, Madden further commented: “The results of our Systems Department substantiate an approach that is working and serves as a solid foundation for growth,” said Madden. “The opportunity now is to fine-tune this momentum and build on our strengths while keeping up with a rapidly changing market and technology cycle….”
“This is the first of a series of actions designed to drive long-term change to further establish the Barbizon Lighting Company as the leader of turnkey Systems Integration while adding greater flexibility and options for our customers,” he added. “I am confident that we’ll maintain our leader position in the market, but we will also emerge as a more productive company with further reach and sharper execution.”
