Behind the Scenes of the Caesars Palace New Year’s Eve Party

BC Video Services supported the New Year’s Eve party at Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas by using PIXERA media server technology. Julie Palmisano and Keith Floyd have been the creative masterminds of the technical team and have led the charge for many years on the complex production. This year, BC Video Services had the opportunity to support them in designing and executing the highly anticipated 2023 party. Brian Crow joined the team as the PIXERA programmer and handled engineering design.

Video of the Week: ‘From the Sails: Light Years’ Celebrates Sydney Opera House at 50

The Sydney Opera House is celebrating its 50th birthday this year and the festivities included projecting the film, From the Sails: Light Years, onto the Opera House’s iconic sails. Light Years was created with principal artist Sam Doust of experiential design and technology company Art Processors, and features contributing work by artists Jake Duczynski and Jason Poley. The film celebrates of one of Australia’s most beloved buildings through a stunning light projection and live-sync soundscape designed and composed by Andrew Stevenson, Hylton Mowday, and Josh Paton.

The ‘Snow Queen’ a Ballet on Ice Designed by Mikki Kunttu

The Snow Queen premiered at the Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland, a unique ice ballet extravaganza produced by the Tampere Hall & Kantelinen Company, which is as edgy as it is elegant and exciting. The brainchild of Melissa A. Open-Air Opera Production of ‘The Flying Dutchman’ in Lithuania

The open-air production of the Wagner opera The Flying Dutchman in the historic Paul Willy Lindenau shipyard in Lithuania was one of the absolute stage highlights in Europe in 2022 and was broadcast live on the OperaVision streaming platform.
