An Immersive Experience that Recreates the Colombian Rainforest

Christie® HS Series 1DLP® laser projectors deliver a spectacular immersive experience to visitors of La Selva, an educational geodesic dome designed to foster appreciation and preservation of the Colombian rainforests. Located in the Parque Empresarial El Tesoro shopping mall in Medellín, this project is a collaborative effort between the mall and Lonko Labs.

Olympic Cauldron Uses Light and Water to Create Fire

On Friday, July 26th, French athletes Marie-José Pérec and Teddy Riner lit the Cauldron of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 at the end of the Opening Ceremony. Created by French designer Mathieu Lehanneur, the Paris 2024 Cauldron, located in the Jardin des Tuileries on the grounds of the Louvre, is a giant ring of “fire” topped by a monumental balloon that takes to the skies over Paris. For the first time in the history of the Games, the Olympic Flame will shine without fuel. The 100% electric flame without fuel is created by use of water and light.

The Sphere Fourth of July Celebration on the Exosphere

On July 4, 2024, Sphere celebrated the one-year anniversary of the first illumination of the Exosphere – the world’s largest LED screen – with a dazzling Exosphere show. The Sphere Fourth of July Celebration honored America in the ultimate tribute to art, science, and wonder, and how that unites us all. The dynamic content was amplified with more than 500 drones.

Feature Film ‘Daddio’ is supported by 4Wall Entertainment with Advanced LED Volume Solutions

4Wall Entertainment played a vital role supporting the production of the feature film ‘Daddio’, written and directed by Christy Hall. 4Wall built a virtual production studio to create a realistic backdrop of New York City streets, recreating a drive in a taxicab where the film takes place. Hall and the 4Wall team explain how this innovative approach enabled an efficient and visually stunning production.

The Story Behind the “No Brown M&Ms” Legend

Many in our industry have heard the legend of Van Halen’s tour rider with the “No Brown M&Ms”. Some know it well and know its origins, but many do not.
