DÜSSELDORF  – During the last K Trade Fair for the plastics and rubber industry in Düsseldorf, Germany, Inovyn, a leading European company in the chemical industry, invited 450 guests to the Inovyn Awards which honors the latest innovations of the sector. For the AV technical production of the event, Inovyn contracted GSF Event, a company that specializes in rental audiovisual equipment, especially in sound, light and video projection. GSF Event worked alongside Event’ives who designed and produced the event.

NEW YORK– An expansive 30-year survey of the work of Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist, “Pixel Forest” filled the main gallery floors of New York City’s New Museum with an array of exciting video art and multimedia installations.  WorldStage provided AV support for the exhibition, which had throngs of people waiting in block-long lines for admission. The New Museum, located on The Bowery, is the first museum devoted to contemporary art established in New York City since World War II.

When the church upgraded its production equipment to high definition at its main site in South Barrington, IL, it selected HDTV cameras from Hitachi Kokusai Electric America Ltd. FREMONT, CA – Blackmagic Design today announced that Tokyo based L’espace Vision has created the Mega MultiDock, an ingest system built around 20 Blackmagic MultiDocks. The system is able to import media from up to 80 SSDs simultaneously and is primarily used for ingesting footage from its live concert recording service, which uses multiple Blackmagic HyperDeck Studio Pro SSD recorders.

ATLANTA — Visional Productions, an Atlanta-based design company, used three custom-built media servers running Avolites Ai V9.1 software and an Avolites Quartz console to control and live-edit a mix of pre-recorded content and live-streamed video at an annual three-day Christian youth conference. The event, Passion 2017, which took place Jan. 2-4 in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome, drew audiences of 50,000 young adults from around the globe.

CHINA – The Shaanxi Tourism Group employed a range of modern technology to stage “Xi’an Incident,” marking the 80th anniversary of one of the turning points in the Chinese Civil War.  The production used the most advanced lighting, sound, automation and multimedia mapping technologies to create an immersive viewing experience for audiences.  Three d3 4x4pro media servers powered an extensive array of laser projectors and LED screens.

CYPRESS, Calif. – The world champion Cleveland Cavaliers have added a new dimension to halftime shows and 60-second time outs thanks to the Christie® Pandoras Box media server and Quince Imaging. Using a combination of 3D mapping techniques and video content produced by the Cavaliers own QTV team, and Christie Pandoras Box, Quince Imaging transforms the Quicken Loans Arena basketball court into an immersive environment featuring a classic pong-style game with participants competing against each other from each end of the court.

Oregon City Christian Church Upgrades Live Streaming with JVC PTZ Cameras

OREGON CITY, OR –  Oregon City Christian Church is using two JVC KY-PZ100 PTZ network video production cameras to produce weekly live streaming coverage of one of its Sunday morning services. Before deploying the new cameras, OCC had been using only a single camera in the back of the church to stream its services.
