ROE Academy Presents Graduating Class

BURBANK, CA – Pictured is the graduating class of Roe Academy – a training session held at the offices of Roe Visual US Inc, March 28-30, 2017. The students spent time learning about all ROE product – specs, setup & troubleshooting. They had lecture time and hands on learning. Folks traveled from Florida, Las Vegas, Northern and Southern California. All in attendance passed written and hands on exams to become Certified Level 1 Roe Technicians.

Newly Launched “MK” Cinema Lens Series From Fujifilm Making Nab 2017 Debut

WAYNE, N.J.,– The newly launched “MK” Series of cinema lenses from the Optical Devices Division of FUJIFILM will make their NAB debut next month in Las Vegas. With the first in its series introduced in February of this year, “MK” lenses are currently designed for E-mount cameras and boast advanced optical performance, ultra-compact and lightweight design, as well as superb cost performance. FUJIFILM will exhibit in booth #C7225 during the show to be held from April 22-27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

CHELMSFORD, MASS.  – Broadcast Pix™ today announced an agreement with NewBlue, an innovative titling and video effects company based in San Diego, to include its high-end CG engine in Broadcast Pix integrated production switchers. Titler Live powered by NewBlueFX produces resolution independent 3D text and graphics, as well as motion graphics animations. Broadcast Pix will demonstrate its new graphics capabilities at the 2017 NAB Show (Booth SL9721), which runs April 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nev.

LONDON – As the finale to the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) presented a dazzling new production of Shakespeare’s The Tempest in the Bard’s birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon.  The innovative staging featured live motion capture, which allowed Ariel to shape-shift and become characters such as a sea nymph and harpy, all in realtime.
