disguise Powers Foo Fighters’ Video-Intensive ‘Concrete and Gold’ Tour

PORTLAND, OR – Two of Foo Fighters’ recent Concrete and Gold tour stops had to be postponed when frontman Dave Grohl lost his voice in early September. “That’s the last time I ever make out with Bono,” Grohl quipped, days after U2 also had to cancel shows to allow for vocal rest. (Thankfully, both singers have since recovered.) Along with Grohl’s full-throated vocals, show-goers can look forward to some spectacular visuals driven by disguise’s gx range media servers running the latest r15 software.

SNA Displays Relies on Christie Terra for Massive LED Screens in Downtown L.A.

LOS ANGELES – There’s an eye-catching new feature in downtown Los Angeles: three giant LED screens covering an eight-story parking structure near L.A. Live and Staples Center. The screens are part of the Circa complex that includes twin 35-story luxury residential towers. SNA Displays chose Christie Terra as the switching, scaling and signal extension solution for the LEDs’ 4K content.

311 Touring with Avolites Ai-Controlled Video Wall

CHICAGO – 311’s current tour is criss-crossing North America with a full video rig powered by Avolites’ Ai. The American rockers worked with production designer Bobby Grey, from Sightline Design Group, who created a video-focused show to add dynamic and fast-paced eye-candy. The band is backed by a 5.9mm upstage LED screen measuring 38 by 16 feet along with an ample lighting rig.
