National Touring Dance Competition ‘Showstopper’ Invests in ADJ AV6X LED Video Panel System

LOS ANGELES – Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2018, Showstopper is America’s largest and longest-running dance competition. Taking place across regional events in almost every state, and culminating in a series of large national finals, it provides dancers of all ages the opportunity to experience big stage competition with full-on professional production. And, for the event’s anniversary year, this production has been taken to another level thanks to an investment in 136 ADJ AV6X LED video panels that made their debut at the recent series of national finals.

BERLIN – For the first PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Global Invitational, staged at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin in late July, 20 four-person teams vied for a $2 million pool of prize money over the course of five days. The live event was staged with the squads of players positioned on two concentric levels, with video relaying the game action as the eSports competition intensified. Amsterdam-based event production company Live Legends used disguise’s new Lux and OmniCal features extensively for this live event’s opening spectacle.

disguise to Launch A Creative Collaborative Workspace in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – With offices in London, New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai, disguise is expanding with a new location in Los Angeles. The disguise LA workspace, slated to open later this month, is located at 421 Colyton Street in Los Angeles’ arts district. The facility will be supported by Marcus Bengtsson and Kim Williams, who are moving to L.A. from New York and Portland, respectively.
