The music video, taped Aug. 10 at the United Nations General Assembly Hall, featured a performance by Beyoncé, who dedicated “I Was Here” in recognition of World Humanitarian Day.
GoVision Enhances Entertainment at ASAE Meeting
DALLAS – Argyle, TX-based GoVision provided video screens to enhance the entertainment during the 2012 ASAE Annual Meeting & Expo in Dallas. An Opening Night Celebration at Cowboys Stadium featured extra screens on each side of the stage for Big & Rich’s show, while another night’s event featured screens enhancing country artist Jack Ingram’s performance.
WorldStage Supports EA’s Press Event
LOS ANGELES – High Tech met Old World when game publisher Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) staged its press event during the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) at LA’s century-old Orpheum Theatre with AV support from WorldStage. In addition to the invitation-only event, feeds streamed live from 11 sites, reaching a virtual audience of six million viewers.

In its 24-hour Fusion Center, a 72-unit Christie MicroTiles display helps the officers gather and share intelligence information with state-level and Federal Homeland Security. The center selected Christie MicroTiles as it fit their requirements for a video wall that was high resolution, low maintenance and durable enough for round-the-clock usage.
Pete’s Big TVs Debuts MK7 LED Panels on Country Concert ’12
FT. LORAMIE, OH – Pete’s Big TVs recently added to its rental inventory 1,200 panels of digiLED MK7 video screens, using 350 of the panels to create five screens for the Country Concert ’12. The MK7 panels provided a solution for daytime ambience. “They have all the features of the 7mm MC7 – popular because of their no Radio Frequency interference – except that the screens are not transparent, which makes them twice as bright,” says Guy Benjamin of Pete’s Big TVs.

Landscape Video from Tait Fills Olympic Stadium with Moving Images
LONDON — The opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games saw the main stadium transformed into a huge array of LED video pixels, mapped to the space occupied by the audience. The effect was made possible with 70,500 pixel tablets developed by Tait Technologies for the stadium seating grid. There were more than 70,500 of the pixel tablets in all.
Pearl Media Maps 3D Video on New York Hotel
NEW YORK – Pearl Media Productions was tasked with making the Maritime Hotel stand out from the crowd in the Meatpacking District. Their solution was a 3D-mapped building projection using Hippotizer HD media servers and 360,000 lumens of projected 3D media content inspired by pop artist Keith Haring. The four-hour show featured three-minute bursts of displays, bringing the entire hotel façade to life.
