XL Video Supplies Projection for Cisco Live 2014 in Milan

MILAN, Italy — XL Video provided a range of video solutions including 60 meter widescreen projection and control, cameras / PPU and crew, together with LED screens and general AV support for Cisco Live 2014, a four-day event staged at the MiCo Milano Congressi conference center here for IT and networking pros. XL Video was working on behalf of event producer George P. Johnson.

Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show Gets Hippotizer Assist

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — More than 80,000 fans became animated pixels at the Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show featuring Bruno Mars.  Five outputs from four Hippo HD Genlock machines controlled the wireless audience LED “display” along with visuals seen on 220 LED Ayrton MagicPanel 602s on the stage.  PixMob technology made the audience participation possible, alternatively managed by the lighting desk and Hippotizer control.

Electrosonic Upgrades Video, Audio System in Texas Spirit Theater

AUSTIN, TX — Electrosonic helped the Bullock Texas State History Museum upgrade its 190-seat 4D Texas Spirit Theater recently. Although the original AV system, also installed by Electrosonic, was still functional, the gear was also a dozen years into its life cycle. For the refurbishment, Electrosonic replaced the existing show control system with an Alcorn McBride V16 Pro show controller and swapped out HD-MPEG video players in favor of a Dataton WATCHOUT video playback system. The project was complete in time for the Nov. 2013 premiere of the short film, Shipwrecked, which supports a new exhibition on the excavation of the barque La Belle, which sank off the Texas coast in 1686.
