Portable Jands Vista S1 Meets Needs of LD on Ben Rector Tour
NASHVILLE — LD Ryan Burton found that a highly portable Jands Vista S1 was still powerful enough to meet his needs while touring with Ben Rector on the artist’s 34-date autumn tour of the U.S. to promote his latest album, The Walking in Between. Jands’ North American distributor, A.C. Lighting Inc., worked with Special Events Systems to supply the Jands Vista S1 for this tour.
Alchemy Supports Aspen, CO Gigs with Elation EPV9 IP LED Screens
ASPEN, CO — Rental and production house Alchemy Concert Systems, based here, recently purchased Elation Professional EPV9 IP LED panels and put them to work on two events at Aspen Mountain ski resort -the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club’s 2013 Audi Ajax Cup in late December and a corporate event in early February. The panels are IP65-rated for outdoor use.

Immersive Creates EPIC 2.0 Experience for Eric Prydz US Dates
Raising the stakes of EDM visuals, Eric Prydz’s EPIC 2.0 tour features an enormous set incorporating LED screens rather than projection surfaces, lasers, holograms, smoke machines and other visual effects. Influenced by Immersive’s creative director John Munro’s passion for brutalist and minimalist architecture, the set situated Prydz in a giant structure that overlapped the audience, made from LED screens onto which visual content was displayed. Munro drew from a visual concept, The Manmade In Nature in parallel with How Nature Influences the Manmade, to create the sublimely striking, dark images that accompanied the show.
Pete’s Big TVs Provides LED Screens for BET Honors
NEW CASTLE, DE – Video equipment rental company Pete’s Big TVs provided high resolution LED video screens, two Barco 18K projectors, and monitors for the 2014 BET Honors. The seventh annual event, held February 8 at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC, celebrated the achievements of African Americans in music, literature, entertainment, media, service and education. The show premieres around the world on BET’s international network Feb. 28.
