Brookfield HQ Features Dataton Watchpax-Controlled High-Res Video Wall

NEW YORK — Visitors to Brookfield Office Properties’ new corporate headquarters here can view a new ultra high-res video wall made from 36 ultra narrow bezel 55” screens. The content, featuring the company’s history with high-res visuals and motion graphics, is driven by Dataton’s Watchout multi-display system.

BOI Solutions also deployed its proprietary SpaceTrigger touchscreen software that allows one overlay/touchscreen to control all the sources on the wall. Gestures may be used to manipulate sources as well as pass-through mouse control. This permits multiple users to dynamically interact with multiple sources on the same display wall simultaneously.

BOI Solutions Adds Vista Systems’ Spyder to AV Arsenal

MIAMISBURG, OH — BOI Solutions, based here, designs and manufactures large venue multi-projector virtual displays. The company has added Vista Systems’ Spyder X20 image processors to its arsenal of gear and has been using Spyder for a number of big projects, including an interactive presentation wall for a major packaged goods giant.

LONDON — The new British movie, Cuban Fury, features S+H Technical Support’s Video Floor product. Thirty-six panels of the Video Floor were delivered and installed as a dance floor surface at north London venue Koko by S+H for production company Awesome Effects.

Christie Supports Lollipop Theater Network Fundraiser

BURBANK, CA — Christie created an outdoor movie theater of sorts for a fundraiser staged by the Lollipop Theater Network on behalf of children fighting chronic illnesses or life threatening diseases. The fundraising event, “A Night Under the Stars,” was set for April 26 at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio lot here. Along with members of its managed services team, who assisted with the event, Christie provided its CP4220 projector for the screening of the animated film, Rio 2.

Christie Sim Roadshow Set to Visit Orlando April 30-May 1

ORLANDO, FL — Noting its development of the first DLP simulation projection system with LED illumination, Christie says it’s taking that simulation know-how on the road. The Cypress, CA-based company’s Sim Roadshow presentation will visit the Institute for Simulation and Training at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL from April 30-May 1.

NASHVILLE — For a mid-March conference attended by more than 3,400 Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices agents and brokers (including former Prudential realtors) and coordinated by Corporate Magic, the AV setup included five rolling GV10mm carbon fiber LED panels (each 6’7” x 9’10”) from GoVision LP, L-R stationary projection screens (6’ x 9’) and LED triangles forming the shape of a house.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony Gets Assist from Pete’s Big TVs

NEW YORK – Pete’s Big TVs supplied high res LED video panels and a video tech crew for the 29th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony staged April 10 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Pete’s Big TVs provided 378 digiLED MC7 LED panels for the 65-by-15-foot (WxH) video wall that served as the centerpiece for production designer Bruce Rodgers’ set design. Pete’s also provided 60 panels of Absen A3 3.9mm for L-R displays behind the podiums.

BURWASH, East Sussex, U.K. – Rudyard Kipling’s former home, called Bateman’s, now showcases his life and work. The historic residence has received a lighting upgrade from CLD Distribution that includes warm white LED strips for various display cases. The LED fittings were chosen because they do not emit damaging UV and keep heat to a minimum. 

TDC Delivers Tech and Crew for Australian Movie Seen at TEDx Sydney

SYDNEY – Technical Direction Company supported projection needs of the short film John Was A Good Man.  Directed by by Kate Kazokas and Lucy Adelaide, the film’s participants tell a short eulogy of their lives to date, using the third person. As they are speaking, video images of themselves got projected onto their own faces to heighten the sense of reflection and self-analysis.
