PHILADELPHIA, PA — Lincoln Financial Field, home of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles, is one of the sports venues that have been turning to Click Effects for their digital content delivery system. Click Effects, a division of Nashville-based Sound & Video Creations, has been relying, in turn, upon Vista Systems’ Spyder for live multiple-destination video and data mixed signal switching with real-time windowing and composition.

UTRECHT, The Netherlands — A new musical making heavy use of digital technologies and video effects — Moeder, Ik Wil Bij De Revue (Mother, I Want To Join The Revue) — opened at the Beatrixtheater here to positive reviews in late September. Pickathon Music Festival Relies on Blackmagic Studio Camera and ATEM Production Studio 4K

PORTLAND, OR — Held at the Pendarvis Farm near Portland, OR in early August, the Pickathon Music Festival brought together more than 50 musical acts for three days of music across seven stages. Pickathon producer Ryan Stiles coordinated a crew of 68 staff and 223 volunteers to handle live broadcasts to monitors around the festival grounds, as well as 44 hours of live streams to a global Internet audience via the festival’s and local station KEXP’s websites. The crews used five Blackmagic Studio Cameras HD and six ATEM Live Production Switchers for the event’s visuals.

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic – For the Hard Rock Café here, Jhansen “Mangu” Reinoso of Word Up Sound and Lighting using PVP S5 Video Panels from Chauvet Professional for two video walls. The larger one is 16 by 10 feet (WxH) and is set behind the large stage in the café’s club. The second, comprised of 4×3 panels (WxH), displays seascape imagery in a meeting room.

BROOKLYN, NY – “Fashion Rocks Live,” a star-studded, two-hour celebration of music and fashion was broadcast live on CBS Sept. 9 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.  Pete’s Big TVs provided a large LED and video projection system for the annual international fundraiser which features fashions by the world’s top designers.

LONDON — Avolites Media’s Arran Rothwell-Eyre and Robbie Barr used Avolites Media’s Ai Infinity EX8 server to keep an energized Brixton Academy crowd pumped up for a show featuring rapper Childish Gambino, a.k.a. Donald Glover. The visuals appeared on a 3,000-by-1,000 pixel backdrop at the venue. XL Video provided gear for the U.K. show; LMG is supporting the rapper’s U.S. fall tour.

Bad Uncles’ Big Gig in Germany Includes Avolites Media Servers

MANNHEIM, Germany — German rock band Böhse Onkelz (Bad Uncles) performed a reunion show on one of the largest stages ever constructed in Europe. The event was staged at the Hockenheimring race track, south of Mannheim, and drew close to 200,000 fans. On stage were four 35-meter high LED towers, spanning over one hundred meters, which were pixel mapped with an assist from Avolites Media’s Ai S8 HD media servers provided by Einstein and Sons.
