AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – Expert systems designer, Rapenburg Plaza saw an intensive year of meticulous planning, design and integration come to fruition on Dec. 13 when the National Military Museum, Europe’s biggest military museum opened to the public.
LONDON – Bryan Adams, who is touring in support of the 30th anniversary of his November 1984 album, Reckless, which was re-released in November 2014, is performing with a production design by Willie Williams that includes a big visual assist from XL Video. Along with a string of U.K. dates in late 2014 and shows in South Africa earlier this year, the tour continues with legs in the U.S., Canada and Europe in 2015.
RICHMOND, VA – Christie helped the Science Museum of Virginia create a state-of-the-art planetarium that is taking patrons across the planet and deep into the universe. Audiences are seeing it all in high resolution at 120 Hz thanks to Christie D4K2560 high frame rate projectors, which were installed by Evans & Sutherland (E&S), a pioneer in computer graphics and digital dome theater systems.
LAS VEGAS – Tech Launchpad, which established an on-site studio at the CES show in Las Vegas this year, produced more than 140 segments featuring brand new brands in consumer technology. To produce the segments, Tech Launchpad used the Roland VR-50HD – an all-in-one audio and video live production switcher with USB 3.0 output for web streaming or recording.
