Kevin Hart Comedy Tour Gets Video Assist from SXS Events, Blackmagic Design

LONDON – Comedian Kevin Hart’s ‘What Now’ world tour, taking place at major venues including London’s O2 and Wembley Arena, is getting a visual assist from Blackmagic Design’s Studio Camera 4K and ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K.  SXS Events is supporting the tour’s video needs with LED screens, I-Mag projectors, PPU and crew.

Eyevis EYE-TOLED-5500 to be Featured at ISE 2016

AMSTERDAM – eyevis will feature a new kind of display at ISE: the transparent EYE-TOLED-5500. This new LED display, measuring 55 inches (diagonal), is designed to appear to be transparent whenever black image content is shown but to also dazzle the eye with active, luminous pixels with brilliant colors.

NEW YORK — Adele Live in New York City, a one-night-only show at Radio City Music Hall, aired on NBC Dec. 14, 2015. DWP Live provided a projection-mapping visual assist for the broadcast, which garnered more than 11 million viewers. DWP Live used an arsenal of gear on short order for mapped surfaces that included four ceiling arches, the proscenium and the stage of Radio City Music Hall.

Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook Gets Super-Sized Video Screen

LAS VEGAS – Westgate Resorts teamed with RP Visual Solutions (RPV) and Christie to build a super-sized LED Video wall inside the Westgate Superbook at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Working with HB Communications, RPV and Christie created a curved array measuring 20 by 220 feet (HxW). It makes use of 1,640 2.5 millimeter Christie Velvet LED tiles and more than 65 million pixels.

Chauvet Video Panels Animate Lion’s Eyes for Life in Color ‘Kingdom’ Tour

MIAMI – For the Life in Color “Kingdom” tour, featuring Jack U, Steve Aoki, Zeds Dead, Flosstradamus, Big Sean and other EDM artists, a large lion-head set element has eyes animated with Chauvet Professional video panels. The festival tour included a show at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Jan. 16. Shows are also set for Kalamazoo, MI on Feb. 12 and Denver, CO Feb. 20.

ATLANTA— At this year’s annual Passion gathering of Christian college students, 40,000 young people ages 18 to 25 filled three arenas to worship, pray and hear inspirational speakers. This three-day conference, held January 2-4, 2016, featured a multimedia extravaganza managed through TNDV’s mobile production infrastructure, including and big screen displays of video, lyrics and scripture delivered from Renewed Vision’s ProPresenter 6 media presentation software.

LONDON– Behind the scenes at NBC’s The Wiz Live, an LED back wall formed the scenic backdrop; three LED portals opened and closed and an extensive amount of automated scenery tracked in and out. d3 Technologies also played a key role in bringing Dorothy’s journey to Oz to life for a new generation of viewers.

DWP Live used four Barco HDF­W30 projectors, three Pandoras Box media servers and two outputs to map the building.

Nashville Parthenon Lit In Its Original Colors for Japanese TV Show

NASHVILLE – For the Parthenon in Nashville’s Centennial Park, a full-scale copy of the original Parthenon in Athens, DWP Live helped approximate the colors that were originally used for the original structure some 2,500 years ago. The columns were bathed in the hues for a Japanese TV program. DWP Live used four Barco HDF­W30 projectors, three Pandoras Box media servers and two outputs to map the building.
