WOKINGHAM, UK – A huge display featuring Christie award-winning Boxer 4K30 projectors was the impressive visual centerpiece of the Co-op’s AGM in Manchester. Spanning 180 feet in width and 26 feet in height and delivering stunning HD images and video during the event, the curved display was designed and installed by AtoV, an integration company specializing in live events.

BRISTOL, U.K. – Entertainment engineering specialist WIcreations was asked to create a new visual solution for the recent Massive Attack tour. The video design, created by United Visual Artists (UVA) – needed a full horizontal section in the middle of a flown Roe MC7 LED screen that measured 14.4 by 6 meters (WxH) to protrude from the rest of the surface by half a meter. This was to make specific text statements, facts and figures being displayed really stand out.

MUNICH – The new Säbener Lounge within Munich’s Allianz Arena is serving up tempting aromas of freshly prepared foods for soccer fans. The space is also providing a visual feast with LED video walls, high-definition televisions and LED video signage. Wilhelm & Wilhalm, which provided the design and installation for the lounge’s interior lighting, sound and multimedia imagery, turned to AV Stumpfl to provide the control system technology and support.

LONDON– d3 Technologies and White Light have created the first d3 on-set projection mapped TV studio, using the d3 2x2plus and two d3 4x4pro’s fully loaded with their industry first, patented Quad-SDI video format conversion (VFC) cards. PHILADELPHIA – Advanced AV opted for Barco PGWU-62L laser phosphor projectors for The Franklin Institute science museum in Philadelphia. The new projectors replace older projection technologies that had been used for the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial within the museum’s rotunda near the entrance of the museum.
