Cosmic Truss F34

Cosmic Truss F34 Baby Tower

LOS ANGELES – The Cosmic Truss F34 Baby Tower allows for an unobtrusive ground support system to be used. Its compact form makes it suitable for applications where locations are difficult to access and where application with normal ground support is too big and heavy. Instead of being conceived as a truss tower, Baby Tower is essentially a tube — designed to support a grid made of 12-inch box truss. The legs are in sections and can be set to a maximum height of 23 feet (7 meters) while retaining a strong aesthetic.

Osram Ostar Stage LEDs

Osram Ostar Stage LEDs

The new Osram Ostar Stage LEDs from Osram Opto Semiconductors offer high luminance of 48 million candelas per square meter and tunable color tones from cold white to warm white. Combined with their low-profile design and glass cover with anti-reflective coating, they provide the basis for more compact spotlights with an extremely narrow beam. The Ostar Stage LEDs are targeted for use in moving head spotlights on stage, for booth lighting at trade fairs and for architectural lighting.

Jands Stage CL Console

Jands Stage CL Console

Jands designed its Stage CL console to meet the needs of those running small lighting rigs that include LED fixtures — without going overboard on price or complexity. Each of the 12 channels has a saturation encoder. Turn the dial, and a LED on the channel shows the color chosen, for single fixtures or groups. Preset buttons also let users click between full and half saturation, and a one-press Record button stores settings and looks.

J. R. Clancy SceneControl 5300

J. R. Clancy SceneControl 5300

Because J. R. Clancy’s SceneControl 5300 offers limitless synchronized grouping functionality, the compact motion control console can be used for elaborate productions, yet its software is also intuitive and user-friendly, making it a good choice for the needs of schools and regional theaters. New features include an integrated 3D view of the venue, within which operators may select axes to operate. Multiple SceneControl consoles can be networked, allowing multiple users to control specific stage elements. The SceneControl 5300 also features a constraint algorithm that restrict motion of an axis based on position, digital inputs, or speed of an adjacent element. Scaled permissions allow authorized users to work safely within the system.
